Nigerian Govt. won’t say anything about the leaked report about Tinubu’s trip to Qatar.

To be sure, the Federal Government has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will go to Qatar on March 2 and 3, 2024.

This was written in a statement by Francisca Omayuli, who works as a spokeswoman for Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

She did not say, though, if Qatar turned down a meeting with President Tinubu.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will go to the State of Qatar as planned on March 2 and 3. During the visit, the two countries will have high-level talks about all kinds of strategic, diplomatic, and economic problems.

There is a long history of friendship and close ties between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the State of Qatar. That is why HE President Tinubu is going to Doha soon. This will help strengthen this important friendship.

“The Ministry is aware that diplomatic letters are being shared in the media and wants to make it clear that it will not comment on leaks,” she said.
