The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who is also the Governor of Kwara State, has called for a comprehensive investigation into the Ibadan bomb blast that resulted in casualties and displaced numerous residents last Tuesday.
Expressing his condolences to the people and Government of Oyo State, Abdulrazaq emphasized the importance of an objective and thorough probe to prevent a recurrence of such a tragic incident.
He commended the swift response of Governor Seyi Makinde to the situation and underscored the need for mining operators to adhere to global best practices and prioritize safety.
