Students of the College of Nursing affiliated with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital staged a protest on Tuesday in Nnewi over a recent hike in tuition fees. Videos shared online showed the students marching within the campus while demanding a reversal of the increase.
The demonstrators were seen carrying placards and chanting slogans expressing opposition to the new fee structure. In several clips circulating on social media, the students repeatedly called on the authorities to reduce the charges.
The College of Nursing operates under the teaching hospital, one of the major tertiary healthcare institutions in Anambra State. The protest drew attention from online audiences as footage spread across multiple platforms.
