Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, widely known as Omo Local, has revealed details of the marital crisis that ended her marriage. She alleged that her husband had an affair with her close friend, resulting in both women becoming pregnant at the same time.
The actress made the disclosure during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, where she described the experience as one of the most painful periods of her life.
Omo Local stated that she was five months pregnant when she discovered that her best friend was also three months pregnant for her husband. She said the emotional impact of the situation was overwhelming.
According to her, the shame and trauma pushed her into a state of deep distress. She disclosed that she ingested a poisonous substance during that period, an action she attributed to the psychological strain she was facing at the time.
The actress said the incident ultimately led to the collapse of her marriage. She confirmed that she no longer maintains contact with either her former husband or her erstwhile friend.
Omo Local added that she is unaware of their current relationship status. However, she claimed that after she left the marriage, the pair went on to have three children together.
The actress did not provide further details about the timeline of events or the legal status of the divorce.
