Alex Otti has congratulated former Abia State governor Okezie Ikpeazu following his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain. He also commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the diplomatic posting.
In a statement released on Monday in Umuahia, Otti described the appointment as an opportunity for Ikpeazu to represent Nigeria at the international level and safeguard the interests of Nigerians residing in Spain. The statement was issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.
Otti urged the Federal Government to provide adequate institutional and logistical support to Ikpeazu and other newly appointed ambassadors to ensure effective performance in their diplomatic roles.
He further expressed confidence that the former governor would deliver productive service in advancing Nigeria’s foreign relations and national interests.
