Nollywood actress and humanitarian Tonto Dikeh has shared a video showing her praying for a schoolgirl during an evangelism outreach, describing the moment as part of her ongoing spiritual commitment. The incident occurred shortly after she and her team concluded a faith-based programme at a school.
In a video posted on her Instagram page on Friday, Dikeh explained that she sensed a troubling spiritual atmosphere as they prepared to leave the venue. She said the situation prompted immediate prayers by members of her outreach team.
The actress stated that a student approached her shortly after and requested prayers. According to her account, the girl said she had been experiencing unusual sightings and felt distressed, prompting her friends to encourage her to speak with the outreach team.
Dikeh said prayers were offered for the student and described the moment as spiritually significant. She added that the girl had earlier participated in the programme’s altar call.
The film star recently announced a preference to be addressed as an evangelist rather than her former title. She noted that the outreach experience reflected what she described as the early phase of her ministry work.
Dikeh also acknowledged the guidance of her spiritual mentors, including Jerry Eze and Eno Jerry, expressing appreciation for their support and prayers ahead of the programme.
She concluded by stating that the outreach recorded a large turnout and significant participation from students, with many making faith commitments during the event.
