Following a two-month relationship, Bill Murray and Kelis have broken up.
According to The Sun, the 72-year-old American actor wasn’t the one to put an end to it.
The 44-year-old Milkshake singer, according to a source who spoke to the outlet, made the final decision to end the project.
The insider claimed that although Kelis and Bill were — and still are — very fond of one another, things “just ran their course,” and that the split was amicable.
They continued, ‘They both had hectic schedules and after a whirlwind relationship chose to go their separate ways.’
Following their divorce in August, the insider claims that “They hope to remain friends but also plan to move on with their lives.”
The relationship is said to have begun following the passing of the vocalist of the Midnight Snacks’ second husband, Mike Mora, who unfortunately died in March 2022 from stomach cancer.
The May/December romance supposedly started when the Caddyshack actor was seen accompanying Kelis on her most recent summer tour.
Despite the pretty significant age difference, they are both unmarried and enjoying themselves, according to the same anonymous source.
