Wike demands an urgent meeting due to the FCT's deteriorating security.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has convened an emergency meeting to address the escalating insecurity in the nation's capital. 

Wike, the former Rivers State governor, brought together security agencies, FCTA officials, council chairmen, and traditional rulers to strategize on improving security. 

He urged council chairmen to fulfill their responsibilities and assured residents of enhanced security measures. 

This meeting follows First Lady Remi Tinubu expressing sorrow over the death of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, a victim of recent kidnappings near Abuja. 

The First Lady called for fervent prayers and urged security agencies to intensify efforts to address kidnapping and insecurity nationwide.
