The Kaduna Internal Revenue Service hopes to collect N62 billion by 2024.
The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) aims to achieve a target of N62 billion in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for 2024.

Governor Uba Sani set an annual IGR target of about N120 billion in the state's 2024 budget.

KADIRS, responsible for generating over N5.8 billion (47.33% of the state's IGR target), will collaborate with other revenue-generating MDAs to achieve the total goal.

Executive Chairman Jerry Adams highlighted the use of emerging ICT solutions and data management systems to enhance revenue collection and efficiency.

He emphasized human capacity building, compensation for high performers, and addressing tax leakages to meet set targets.

The retreat aimed to review KADIRS's performance, identify challenges, and strategize for the new fiscal year.

Governor Sani stressed the importance of improved revenue generation for the state's development projects and infrastructure.
