Ten family members perished in the incident in Pakistan.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State conducted an inspection of the deteriorated segment of Etche-Igbodo Road in Etche Local Government Area. 

He pledged to promptly initiate completion work on the road after residents and stakeholders in Umuohie-Igbodo Communities voiced their concerns. 

The governor acknowledged the past administration's accomplishment in reconstructing part of the road but noted that the uncompleted section remained a challenge. 

Expressing concern about the road's condition during the rainy season, Fubara committed to addressing the issue promptly to alleviate the suffering of residents and improve traffic flow on the route.
