Sheikh Abou and Baba Adinni of Lagos are mourned by President Tinubu.

President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Abdul-Hafeez Aṣhamu Abou, Baba Adinni of Lagos and Chairman of the Executive Council of Lagos Central Mosque. 

In a statement, Tinubu mourned the loss of the revered Baba and extended sympathy to his family, the Muslim community in Lagos, and the Lagos State Government. 

Tinubu celebrated Baba's legacy of service, duty, and sacrifice, noting his significant contributions to the Muslim Ummah and beyond. 

The President highlighted Baba's devotion to a life guided by noble moral codes and urged everyone to uphold his values of honesty, dignity, and sacrifice. 

Tinubu concluded with prayers for Baba's soul to attain the highest station in Al-Jannah (paradise).
