Kebbi will include former soldiers in the battle against terrorism and banditry.

To enhance security measures and address insecurity, Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has unveiled plans to integrate ex-servicemen into the state's security framework. 

The governor disclosed this during the launch of the armed forces remembrance emblem, marking the beginning of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in Birnin Kebbi. 

Dr. Idris pledged continued involvement of ex-servicemen in the state's security structure and donated N20 million to retired military personnel. 

He acknowledged the importance of honoring fallen heroes and supporting those who sacrificed for peace, emphasizing the state's commitment to restoring peace and safeguarding lives.
