Group requests that Tinubu look into the distribution of palliatives

The Joint Action for Good Governance (JAGG) has called on President Bola Tinubu to investigate the distribution of palliatives, particularly those routed through members of the National Assembly to their constituents. 

The advocacy group expressed concerns about the distribution pattern and modalities, emphasizing that eligible and vulnerable Nigerians did not receive the intended relief. 

JAGG highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in government initiatives, stating that information suggests the diversion and sale of palliatives by some individuals, depriving the vulnerable population of the intended benefits. 

The group commended the initiative but emphasized the importance of ensuring fair and transparent distribution processes.
