Governments neglect their responsibilities to the TETFund, laments Echono

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) expressed concern about certain governors shifting responsibilities for funding tertiary institutions to the agency. 

While TETFund is mandated to provide funding for public educational facilities nationwide, some governors allegedly establish new institutions and rely solely on TETFund for financial support. 

However, TETFund commended Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, for actively supporting the institutions in his state, contrasting it with the alleged abdication by some of his counterparts. 

TETFund assured maximum support to the newly established College of Education (Technical) in Bauchi State. 

Governor Mohammed sought TETFund's assistance for the rapid development of the new institution.
