Dangote commends Tinubu, NNPCL, and others as the refinery begins operations.

President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and guidance in realizing the Dangote Petroleum Refinery project, which has initiated the production of diesel and aviation fuel.

Dangote also extended appreciation to organizations such as NNPC Limited, NUPRC, and NMDPRA, as well as Nigerians for their support and belief in the historic project. 

He credited Tinubu's leadership and interventions for overcoming obstacles and accelerating the project. 

The refinery has received six million barrels of crude oil, with the first delivery on December 12, 2023, and products expected in the market after regulatory approvals.

Dangote commended bankers, financiers, the Lagos State Government, and host communities for their contributions to the project's success.
