China and FG collaborate on hardware at the Ajaokuta Steel Plant.

On Thursday, the Federal Government of Nigeria initiated discussions with Luan Steel Holding Group, a prominent Chinese company, to establish a new steel plant in Nigeria, focusing on manufacturing military hardware at the Ajaokuta Steel Plant. 

This collaboration highlights the commitment to rejuvenate Nigeria's steel industry and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 'Renewed Hope' Agenda. 

The government delegation, led by the Minister of Defence, engaged in meaningful discussions with Luan Steel Holding Group, expressing optimism about commencing commercial steel production across various government-owned entities before the end of President Tinubu's administration. 

The partnership is seen as a positive step towards economic growth, job creation, and enhanced national security.
