Buhari honors 85-year-old Bisi Akande.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari extended birthday wishes to Chief Bisi Akande, the founding National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the occasion of his 85th birthday. 

Buhari, in a press statement by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, praised Akande as a wise leader whose tenure witnessed significant achievements for the party. 

The former president highlighted their shared views on various political and national issues, acknowledging Akande's role in laying a robust foundation for the growth and progress of the APC. 

Buhari expressed his belief that the party, structured under Akande's leadership, is well-positioned to address the developmental needs of the country. 

He concluded by wishing Chief Akande good health and continued service to the APC and the nation.
