Bettagate: If Tinubu doesn't look into Tunji-Ojo, YPP vows to shut down Abuja
The Young Progressive Party (YPP) has issued a threat to shut down Abuja if Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is not suspended over alleged involvement in the misappropriation of funds intended for vulnerable Nigerians.

The party, in an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accused the minister of "abuse of office" and presented evidence that his company, New Planet Project Limited, received payments totaling N438.1 million for consultancy services related to the National Social Register contract.

YPP called for immediate suspension, promising mass action in the US and UK, where it claims to have a significant following.
