Authorities verify the abduction of a 70-year-old man in Ogun

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Abiodun Alamutu, has verified the abduction of a 70-year-old man, Adeife Ifelaja, on December 31. 

Ifelaja, an Elder at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ijebu Igbo, was kidnapped while en route to the church's Cross-over service on New Year's Eve. 

The police commissioner assured that efforts are underway to secure his release, with the police actively pursuing leads provided by the kidnappers.
