The Ondo State Security Network, known as Amotekun Corps, has assured residents that the security challenges prevalent in the Federal Capital Territory will not be allowed to emerge in any part of the state.
The Commander, Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the new strategy of kidnappers entering houses to abduct victims will be prevented in the state through the deployment of operatives across the 18 local councils.
Adeleye urged vigilance among the public, disclosed the arrest of 19 suspected kidnappers and 17 other criminals, and emphasized the Corps' determination to eliminate criminal activities in the state.
He also addressed the issue of scavengers, indicating collaboration with government agencies to formulate policies to curb their activities.
