A UNICAL professor is granted temporary bail by the court to have eye surgery.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted temporary bail to Prof. 

Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, to undergo a glaucoma surgery. 

The order was made following an unopposed application by Ndifon's counsel. 

The court set bail at N250 million with a surety who must deposit their travel passport and swear to an affidavit of means. 

The bail is effective from January 10 to January 25. 

The matter has been adjourned until January 25 and January 26 for the continuation of the trial and hearing of the bail application.
