Agu was the ACM in charge of Command Administration and Strategies and had extensive experience in the corps' public education branch.
He succeeds Bisi Kazeem, who was just elevated to the rank of Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM).
Kazeem is now in command of the Department of Training, according to a statement made on Tuesday in Abuja by Charles Edem, the Deputy Corps Public Education Officer.
DCM Shehu Zaki, who was promoted to lead the Department of Operations, would be replaced, according to Edem, by Kazeem.
He claims that the redeployment is a component of a strategic strategy meant to guarantee the Corps's corporate strategic goals are fully realized by 2024.
He continued by saying that the redeployment was also intended to support the Corps' ongoing efforts to establish a safer driving environment.
According to Edem, "Mr. Dauda Biu, the Corps Marshal, expressed confidence in the newly redeployed senior officers' capacity and experiences to deliver on their mandates and charged them to bring their professional expertise to bear for impactful leadership."
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the redeployment would begin on January 15 and conclude the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol, which is taking place nationally during the ember months.
