Prof. Kayode Adebowale, the institution's vice chancellor (VC), stated that the two universities would be dedicated to democratizing education in Nigeria and abroad.
She also mentioned that the partnership would open up countless opportunities for students seeking professional certifications, ongoing development, and other credentials.
Speaking yesterday at the inauguration of UI's strategic partnership with Edurex Academy, an EdTech company, Adebowale stated that UI has always been at the forefront of educational excellence and that the partnership with Edurex is evidence of the institution's commitment to remaining at the forefront of the quickly changing educational landscape.
"Together we are laying a foundation for future where education knows no boundaries, and learners from every corner of the globe have access to knowledge and skills needed for future," said Prof. Emmanuel Omobowale, Director of the UI Distance Learning Center (DLC), in his remarks. He praised Edurex for the partnership.
Speaking on behalf of Edurex Academy's founder, Adedotun Fasiku, Kayode Olaniyan stated that people will have access to the knowledge and abilities necessary to prosper in a constantly shifting global environment.
He stated that the academy's goal has always been to empower students, believing that everyone has the capacity to learn, develop, and make a significant contribution to society.
Thus, he exhorted students to embrace the collaboration, promising that UI and the Academy would assist and mentor them at every turn as they made their way up. Still, he expressed gratitude to UI for its leadership in vision and dedication to quality.
