Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the service's public relations officer, verified the incidence to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano.
According to Abdullahi, the event happened early on Wednesday morning.
Around 03:43 in the morning, Abdullahi Hassan alerted us of a fire outbreak at the Gwale Secretariat by distress call.
"As soon as we got the information, we dispatched a fire truck to the scene at roughly 03:46 a.m. to put out the fire," he said.
According to Abdullahi, the ground level, measuring roughly 300 by 200 feet and used for offices, as well as the remaining 17, were entirely demolished.
In addition, he reported that a 406 Peugeot, a Haice bus, and an ambulance station wagon had minor fire damage.
He stated that the service was looking into what caused the fire.
