The Air Force disputes the deaths of unarmed civilians in Kaduna
The high command of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has disputed that it killed innocent locals at Tudun Biri hamlet in Kaduna State's Igabi Local Government Area.

This refutes claims circulating on social media claiming the military's air branch massacred defenseless civilians during an airstrike.

There were multiple casualties reported in stories that went viral, claiming that a NAF-operated jet dropped a bomb on Sunday night at around nine o'clock when the locals were celebrating Maulud.

Air Force spokesman Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, however, responded quickly, stating: "The rumor circulating that claims Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft inadvertently killed innocent civilians in Kaduna is incorrect.

"Please be advised that throughout the past 24 hours, there have been no air operations conducted by the NAF within Kaduna State and its surroundings. It should be noted that other organizations also use combat-armed drones in Nigeria's northwest, not just the NAF.

Additionally, it's critical to make sure that the media always does its research before publishing rumors that haven't been verified or validated.
