General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), has received praise from the leadership of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, which is headed by Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, for his involvement in calming the families and victims of the Army bombing in Kaduna.
During the sharia leaders' visit, the CDS gave the council of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) an assurance that the AFN was committed to maintaining peace in the nation.
The recent Tudun-Biri episode in Kaduna, he continued, was regrettable. In order to prevent similar incidents in the future, General Musa promised to genuinely identify the reason and provide a long-term fix.
"We'll exert every effort to uncover the truth and make sure it never occurs again."
Additionally, the CDS observed that there aren't many security issues in the nation, especially in the North West. He urged leaders at all levels to combat crime by offering growth and leadership with a purpose.
In response, Dr. Bashir, the team leader, praised the CDS for offering a crucial, people-centered leadership approach.
According to him, leaders cannot afford to live in luxury while the majority of people are living in extreme poverty.
Dr. Bashir added that there have been observable improvements in the nation's security architecture under the CDS leadership style.
He also expressed gratitude to the CDS for his unwavering dedication to resolving the Tudun Biri incident.
He applauded the CDS for demonstrating compassion and understanding for the victims of the drone assault in Tudun Biri.
