"Sanwo-Olu is dedicated to the professional development of officers."According to Afolabi Ayantayo, the Lagos State Commissioner for Establishments and Training, the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is dedicated to supporting officers' ongoing education and professional growth within the state's public service.

Yesterday, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Conference & Exhibition Centre in Alausa, Ikeja, during a two-day training event with the theme, "Key Stages in Environmental Impact Assessments," Ayantayo provided the guarantee.

He stated that participants would have a rare opportunity to expand their knowledge and comprehension of EIA through the training program, which symbolizes the governor's commitment to responsible environmental governance and the professional growth of state public service officers.

Ayantayo expressed optimism that the participants' knowledge and skills from the training will enable them to make well-informed decisions about government initiatives that strike a balance between the demands of ecological preservation and development.

The commissioner stated, "You must ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into policy-making, project planning, and decision-making processes at all levels of government." She was reminding participants of their obligation to uphold the principles of EIA in their day-to-day work.

He consequently urged attendees to make the most of the opportunity afforded by the program, noting that the training's range of viewpoints and experiences would improve participants' debates and overall comprehension of the topic.

As she greeted participants to the training session, Olubusola Abidakun, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, urged them to pursue personal growth in order to increase their effectiveness in service.

She said that officers must first train themselves, and then the government will expand on that instruction. She said that only the most intelligent officers will be able to keep up with the rapid pace of the state civil service. At the start of the program, which was planned for engineers and scientific officers working for the state government, there were one hundred people present.
