Numerous individuals, united under the auspices of the Civil Society Groups for Good Governance, have contributed significantly to the determination of President Bola Tinubu and Senate President Godswill Akpabio to guarantee the prompt enactment of the 2024 budget.Chief Ogakwu Dominic, the group's convener, told the media at the National Assembly that the purpose of the solidarity march was to garner support for Senator Akpabio and the president.
He praised Senator Godswill Akpabio's leadership style and said that in the past five months, as the head of the National Assembly, he has shown a great degree of wisdom and knowledge.
The group stated: "Our goal is to garner support for the 10th National Assembly, especially the Senate, which is led by the remarkable Senator Godswill Akpabio. We appreciate Senator Akpabio's unwavering support for our President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and his Renewed Hope Agenda."
"We think that Nigeria is once again headed toward greatness thanks to the cooperation of the President, Senator Akpabio, and the entire Senate." "We encourage our esteemed lawmakers to honor their commitments to pass the budget quickly, and we express our gratitude to the Senate and the House of Representatives for their promises," the convener said.
Chief Ogakwu went on to encourage the government to prioritize addressing the predicament of those who are disabled (PLWDs). "We are requesting that the government use the social intervention monies to care for the vulnerable. We are here with PLWDs.
"We want the government to give special attention to the PLWDs and all vulnerable Nigerians as Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) come forward to defend the budget," the statement said.
Comrade Solomon Adodo, the President of the National Youth Council, also spoke at the gathering. He explained that President Tinubu created the Renewed Hope Agenda in order to offer every Nigerian a feeling of purpose and hope after many years of their expectations being crushed.
"We are here today to say that we are delighted that the 10th National Assembly and the Senate President have lined up behind President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu's government," he stated. We sincerely believe that this partnership would make Nigerians smile once more.

Speaking at the gathering as well, Comrade Lilian Cosmas stated that they were at the National Assembly to honor a performer and unusual transformer who, in just five months, completely changed the upper house of parliament, pointing out that Akpabio has brought stability and sound governance to the Parliament.
She stated that the Senate, led by Senator Akpabio, had shown President Tinubu remarkable and deserving of praise.
Comrade Cosmas thanked Senate President Akpabio for guaranteeing the budget's swift passage and stated that President Tinubu and Senate President Akpabio were both headed in the right direction toward regaining the country's former grandeur.
Comrade Kabiru Kamba, a different speaker, praised the Senate President for steering the senate in the correct way.
