Oyebanji issues an order for the bank robbers in Ikere-Ekiti to be arrested.Biodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State, has directed security services to track down the individuals responsible for the bank heist that occurred in Ikere, Ekiti on Wednesday.


In a statement released by his spokeswoman, Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji stated that the robbers must also be forced to face the full force of the law.


"The governor declared that no stone would be left unturned in the effort to bring the perpetrators to book, characterizing the armed robbery incident, which claimed three lives, as senseless and disheartening," Oyebode stated.


Oyebanji expressed his sympathies to the Ogoga-in-Council, the Ikere-Ekiti community, and the relatives of the victims of the bank robbery.


In addition, he gave the state's government hospitals instructions on how to treat victims of the robbery incident.


Oyebode emphasized the value of local security awareness and stated that the governor has asked Ikere-Ekiti citizens who possess information that can aid security agencies in their investigations to report it to the appropriate authorities.


"The people who committed this horrible act will not escape punishment. The governor declared, "Our security agencies will pursue them and make sure they face the guilt wrath of the law."


"We send our sympathies to the families of the Ikere people and the victims of the robbery attack."


Additionally, the governor of Ekiti state has encouraged the populace to maintain composure and alertness while going about their regular lives.


The Ekiti government, Oyebanji continued, is dedicated to ensuring their security and safety and will stop at nothing to purge the state of lawbreakers.
