During the 2023 Enugu State Civil Servants Week's big conclusion on Friday in Enugu, Mbah gave the commendation.
The governor gave state employees assurances that under his leadership, the benefit package will continue to improve.
In order to develop a sustainable economy, establish the state as a hub for investments, and realize the projected $30 billion gross domestic product, he added, the focus has now moved from work attendance to production.
Mbah praised the employees for their professionalism and for demonstrating a sense of teamwork and cooperation that aligned with the administration's vision.
Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government, was the governor's representative.
He stated that the administration's 200 days of accomplishments were made possible by its tenacity, cooperation with the authorities, and delivery-focused mindset.
"The governor would like me to remind you that we will not be able to accomplish our goals without your caliber of professionalism.
In light of this, he requested me to remind you that during the next four years, the professionalism he has witnessed in his first 200 days in office should continue to be displayed, he said.
The governor stated that his administration was deliberate in attending to the interests and desires of employees. Civil Service Week is being held under the topic "Innovating the Future Public Service: New Government Model for a New Era to Reach the SDGs."
In order to achieve maximum production that would propel the state to the next level of growth, he added, this meant providing a favorable working environment, incentives, training, and salary and gratuity increases.
The lack of power at the secretariat was one of the demands that had persisted for years, and they wanted a comfortable workspace where they could perform their professional duties.
"I'm glad to hear that the head of service announced that the secretariat building's electricity has been restored.
"The matter of security and guaranteeing the lives of Enugu inhabitants are paramount in our endeavor to expand the economy was the second topic we discussed.
After 200 days in office, he declared, "I am happy to announce that there has been no insecurity incident in Enugu since His Excellency came into office and abolished the sit-at-home order."
"The third item is the improvement in worker welfare," he continued. I'm here to declare that the process of promoting employees who deserve it has started after His Excellency gave his approval.
He said, "In addition to that, he approved the N25,000 and N10,000 wage bill increases for state and local government workers, respectively, a few days ago. That state is among those in Nigeria that has made that effort."
The celebration featured cultural demonstrations by the civil servants and a march-past, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
