Maiduguri is eagerly anticipating Tinubu's visit.

Maiduguri is currently filled with excitement as its citizens eagerly anticipate the arrival of President Bola Tinubu for a brief official visit to Borno.

The Monday visit marks the inaugural presidential excursions in the state since Tinubu gained office on May 29th.

Tinubu will be present in Maiduguri to inaugurate the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Conference and reveal 107 vehicles acquired by the Borno government for the state-owned Mass Transit Company, Borno Express.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported that the fleet consists of 10 high-end buses, 35 mid-sized buses, 12 large buses, and 50 electric taxis.

Upon arrival, Tinubu is also anticipated to show respect to the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Garbai El-Kanemi.
