In Katsina State, suspected bandits kill four farmers and kidnap eight more, according to police

In the Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State's Nahuta hamlet on Saturday, suspected bandits killed four farmers and kidnapped eight more.

ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the state police spokesman, confirmed the attack in Katsina on Sunday.

He claimed that when the attackers arrived, the farmers were finishing up their harvest.

He also said that one of the farmers who made it out was wounded by a bullet.

"The farmers were attacked by the suspected bandits, who then opened fire on them, killing four and wounding one while kidnapping eight more." Says Aliyu
