According to Mr. Samaila Danmallam, the state's NDLEA Commander, the illegal drug seizures and arrests occurred in December, he told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday.
According to Danmallam, the 103 individuals who were taken into custody included drug dealers, traffickers, and users.

He revealed that 26 illegal drug dens were demolished, and that in December, the command managed to get six convictions and arraign 24 offenders.
According to Danmallam, the arrests were a component of the command's initiatives to reduce drug demand in order to tackle the state's drug problem.
"We conducted a number of sensitization campaigns around the state to educate the public about the dangers of drug usage and the illegal trafficking of these substances.
The commander called for timely and relevant information so that appropriate action could be taken, stating that combating illegal substances remained a shared responsibility.
