Messrs. Ojo Taye, John Mahason, Peter Arabo, and Adenekan Adedeji were all freed free by Justice Rahman Oshodi.
A three-count charge that bordered on defilement and sexual assault by penetration was dropped, and they were found not guilty.
According to Oshodi, the prosecution was unable to substantiate the allegations made against the defendants.
He claims that the prosecution did not call the purported survivors, who are three and five years old, to testify in court.
He stated that he was unable to find the defendants guilty primarily on the basis of the testimony provided by the medical professional and the investigating police officer.
"The lack of the survivors' testimony in court has demonstrated that there is not enough evidence to convict the offenders.
"It is preferable to liberate nine criminal individuals than to find one innocent person guilty.
"I acquit and discharge the defendants, finding them not guilty of the charge," he declared.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the defendants were apprehended by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on November 9, 2015, and were detained for eight years.
At arraignment, they had entered a not guilty plea.
