During the political crisis in October, Governor Siminalayi Fubara was ousted, and Ehie was impeached.
He was reported to have thwarted an attempt to impeach the governor and is a fervent admirer of Fubara.
The Majority Leader was ousted, according to Speaker of the House Martins Amaehwule, because he failed to show up for an Assembly seating.
According to Amaehwule, roughly 17 House members were in favor of his dismissal.
But in its decision on Tuesday, the court barred Amaewhule and Dumle Maol from posing as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, respectively.
The court also issued a warning against using police personnel and thugs to forcefully enter the State Assembly Complex.
