In a statement, Hon. Babajimi Benson, the chairman of the House Committee on Defense, pledged to look into the matter in order to prevent a repeat of the regrettable event.

He declared: "All Nigerians are feeling depressed as a result of the tragic tragedy that occurred in the Tudun Biri community in Kaduna state.
"This unfortunate tragedy deeply saddens the House of Representatives Committee on Defense.
"It is tragic that innocent lives were lost in this incident, and our prayers and thoughts are with the affected families."
"We would want to acknowledge the Nigerian Army's swift acknowledgement of accountability in the wake of the unintentional airstrike.
Furthermore, praise is given to all of the parties who were instrumental in easing the victims' suffering.
