This was revealed in a statement released by the CBN on Thursday. According to the statement, the Business Facilitation Act (BFA) 2022 requires the Service Charter in order to promote ease of doing business in Nigeria.
The statement also claims that it makes it possible for the Bank to completely abide by the Presidency's SERVICOM Nigeria instructions regarding the enhancement of customer service delivery.
According to the statement, "The Charter outlines the Bank's expectations from its external customers as well as how the Bank promises to work with them in meeting their expectations of service."
"Commitment to providing more responsive and citizen-friendly governance through quality service delivery that is efficient, accountable and transparent" was reaffirmed by the CBN Governor in the preface of the bank.
The directives, vision, mission, and basic values of Apex Bank are spelled out in detail in this document.
It includes a list of the services that the Bank provides via each of its departments as well as the service requirements for each service.
A standard Customer Complaints Form for reporting service failure is also included in the Service Charter.
In addition, the CBN stated that it serves as a channel for handling service interruptions in any of the Bank's offerings.
