An N/Delta businessman praises Tinubu for reopening the PH Refinery.Mr. Richard Akinaka, an entrepreneur from the Niger Delta, has praised President Bola Tinubu for the prompt and effective reopening of the Port Harcourt Petroleum Refinery.

Akinaka, the founder of the oil and gas services company Abitto Global Services Limited, asserts that the refinery's reopening will have a huge impact on Nigeria's economy and oil production.

Akinaka gave the praise in front of reporters in Yenagoa. She is recognized as one of the Niger Delta's exceptional Young Entrepreneurs.

He said that the refinery's renovation and start of operations would lessen the strain on the country's currency and foreign exchange inflow.

He went on to say that there was another benefit to the goal of Nigeria importing no petroleum products.

Akinaka also praised Technomont, the contractors, and the management of the Port Harcourt Refinery, which is headed by Mr. Ibrahim Onaja, for their relentless efforts, steadfast devotion, and commitment to achieving the goals of the refinery's rehabilitation.

He claimed that the refinery's nearly brand-new condition demonstrated how important leadership is to any industry, as demonstrated by Onoja and his group.

"The revitalisation of the Port Harcourt Refinery was not just about enhancing our energy capabilities; it is a powerful catalyst for economic growth," Akinaka remarked, stressing the refinery's economic significance.

"When the refinery is fully operating, our community's standard of life will rise as a result of more job opportunities, a boost to local companies, and a cascade effect.

"The refinery's impending operation is not just the fulfillment of a promise; it also marks the beginning of a new era of prosperity and self-reliance for our economy."

In order to benefit from economic revitalization, he urged the Eleme and Okrika people, who are the host villages, to collaborate with the management.

According to him, the accomplishment clarified the work that would determine the destiny of the area.

"Let us see the refinery as more than just an industrial facility; it is a testament to what we can accomplish when we work together towards a common goal and a symbol of our shared progress."

Akinaka asked the project's host communities' residents and indigenous people to view the initiatives as their own and to safeguard government property.

"This is our refinery, our economic engine," he continued. Let's work together to protect and nurture this priceless resource, which is essential to the financial success of our town.

By working together, we can make sure that Okrika as a whole reaps the rewards of the Port Harcourt Refinery, leaving a prosperous legacy for future generations.
