According to EEDC, power has been restored to a number of Anambra locations.According to the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), power has been restored in a number of Anambran locations.

This is stated in a statement made on Wednesday in Enugu by Mr. Emeka Ezeh, the EEDC spokesman.

According to Ezeh, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) completed the scheduled maintenance at the GCM 132KV/33KV Station on Tuesday evening, December 5. This resulted in a few days of power outages.

He claims that the impacted 33KV feeders are currently all operational and that customers' access to electricity has been restored.

Recall that EEDC informed its Anambra customers over the weekend of a scheduled outage so that TCN engineers could do infrastructure repairs.

The 60MVA power transformer at the GCM Station had to be turned off for four days as a result of this activity.

Ezeh stated: "We are grateful to our valued clients for their understanding and patience throughout the outage.

"We reassure our clients that we will always be dedicated to giving them excellent service."
