A mother and her six-month-old infant are abducted by bandits in Abuja.

The suspected kidnapping of a nursing mother and her three children at Kubwa extension 2, Arad Road, Bwari Area Council, has raised concerns in Kubwa, on the outskirts of Abuja.

Concerned locals reported that the robbers broke into the neighborhood on Sunday night between 7 and 9 p.m. and kidnapped a mother, a baby who was six months old, and two other kids.

 A local citizen and member of the board of trustees named Mr. Francis Bobai informed reporters that this was the fifth kidnapping in which the FCT Police Command had not stepped in. "This is the fifth time kidnappers have attacked without the government taking any action."

Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police command spokesperson, promised to check and get back to media regarding the event when reached.

But as of the time of publication, she had not yet replied to reporters' questions.
