This was said by ASP Mansir Hassan, the state public relations officer, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Kaduna.
''Our anticrime patrol mission in the Madachi-Galadimawa area of Zaria Local Government Area encountered some individuals who were perhaps kidnappers on Monday at approximately 1600 hours.
We were able to free a kidnapped victim from their den after the operatives pursued them and made them flee.
Hassan stated, "He was taken by ambulance to the Muslim Specialist Hospital in Zaria to receive medical attention."
He claimed that over the course of the inquiry, it was found that the victim had been abducted six months prior while traveling to Kontagara, Niger.
"Everything is being done to apprehend the suspects who are running."
"It's also a work in progress to find his family; updates will be shared," Hassan stated.
