Under Abass, the House of Representatives is operating well, according to Agbese
Mr. Philip Agbese says the 10th House of Representatives is off to a solid start.

The House committee on media and public relations deputy chairman Agbese promised that Nigerians will have reason to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for endorsing Dr. Tajudeen Abbas for the Speaker of the House.

In an interview with reporters in Abuja, Agbese said that the party and the president reached a decision regarding Speaker Abbas without error.

He declared, "Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and our great party, the APC, have taken one of the greatest moves taken in the correct path by recommending His Excellency, RT. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas to be Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.

"I'm curious as to how any other candidate could have outperformed the Speaker at this point. His legislative abilities are unmatched and legendary, and he possesses excellent leadership capabilities.

"You will see why the 10th House got off to a strong start if you obtain a copy of the legislative agenda for the 10th Assembly and take a peek at the excellent ideas and programs developed within.

"The Speaker is determined to create the New Congressional Briefing Service (NASS), which will keep the public informed about the activities and operations of the House through what are known as citizens engagements. He is dedicated to giving legislators, administrative staff, and even you journalists covering the House high-quality trainings on how to cover the Parliament.

Given that the bulk of the lawmakers are new, many people had many questions about how the 10th House would operate when we first took office. However, you can now attest that everyone quickly adjusted, and you seldom ever find someone making blunders on the floor when discussing motions or bills. They obediently obey the guidelines.

"The House's standing rules were successfully amended just this past week, which is also a credit to RT. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and RT. Hon. Benjamin Kalu's leadership." Under any leadership, our situation could not have been better. Even the normal acrimonious ties that traditionally typify the legislative-executive connection have been eliminated, as both the legislative and executive branches now respect one another's borders and collaborate for the benefit of Nigerians.

According to what I'm witnessing on the ground and what will likely happen in the upcoming months, Nigerians will undoubtedly be appreciative of President Tinubu's gift of Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.
