The plan involves reactivating Ajaokuta Steel for the production of steel, a vital component in the concrete roads.
Minister Umahi acknowledged the financial requirements and proposed a strategic approach involving commercial banks, subject to endorsement by the Federal Executive Council.
Umahi praised Minister Audu's efforts in developing the steel sector, recognizing its significance as the cornerstone of Nigeria's industrialization and a catalyst for national development.

Minister Audu reiterated the commitment to implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in restarting steel production at Ajaokuta Steel Plant, aligning with the extensive road development plans.
