On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu will commemorate Armed Forces Day and the nation's 50th anniversary of independence in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, alongside other leaders of state and government.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the president's spokesperson, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Ngelale, President Umaro Sissoco Embalo will be hosting the ceremony, and Tinubu is scheduled to arrive in Bissau on Thursday.
September 24, 2023, was Guinea-Bissau's 50th anniversary of independence; nevertheless, the government had originally planned for all festivities to take place on November 16, 2023.
The presidential adviser continued by saying that Tinubu is anticipated to return to Nigeria on Thursday after the Independence Day festivities.
