The border between Gaza and Egypt has reopened for evacuations: Hamas
According to the Hamas leadership, the Rafah gate, which connects Egypt and the Gaza Strip, reopened on Monday to permit the evacuation of foreign people, dual citizens, and injured Palestinians from the area under Israeli military bombardment.

Before it closed on Saturday and Sunday due to a dispute over the entry of ambulances, the terminal was opened for three days last week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to allow hundreds of foreign passport holders and scores of wounded Palestinians to cross.

According to sources in the Hamas government, the bridge reopened following an agreement to permit the evacuation of thirty injured individuals that was reached with Israel through Egyptian mediation.

According to a border official who spoke to AFP, six ambulances carrying injured Palestinians headed for hospitals arrived at the Egyptian side of the crossing on Monday.

More than 300 Americans, US citizens, and their families were reportedly evacuated from the Gaza Strip, according to a White House announcement on Sunday.

The British government announced on Monday that some 100 citizens of the United Kingdom were also able to leave the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.

According to Egypt, the bridge will assist in the evacuation of about 7,000 foreign nationals.

The Israeli shelling of the Palestinian territory has resulted in more than 10,000 deaths, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, which was announced on Monday.

As part of their military reaction to the October 7 Hamas attacks, which authorities claim claimed 1,400 lives, largely civilians, and kidnapped over 240 more, Israeli soldiers have increased their ground operations in Gaza.
