Scammer in police net slashes cement prices

The Lagos State Police have apprehended Benjamin Ezeukwe (28), the alleged mastermind of a scam that defrauded multiple Nigerians through a fraudulent Dangote Cement price reduction scheme. 

According to Police spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Ezeukwe was arrested in the Rumuolumeni area of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers, on October 19, following an extensive investigation by the "Area A" police command in Lagos. 

The suspect was found in possession of incriminating items, including three SIM cards, one of which (08039691980) was used in the cement scam, and a Toyota Avalon car identified as proceeds of the crime. 

Ezeukwe has been arraigned, and it was revealed that he had committed various scams in the past.
