When he delivered the supplies for later distribution on Monday, Mustapha Habib, the agency's director general, stated that 100 people will gain from the relief help.
He claims that the gesture is intended just as a sign of relief for the victims, not as payment for the lives lost.
Habib expressed his condolences to the state administration for the loss of life and property due to the tragedy, on behalf of Abbani Garki, the agency's North-West Zonal Coordinator.
He listed the contents as follows: fifty sphagetti boxes, ten bags of salt, twenty kegs of vegetable oil, ten cartons of seasoning, one hundred blankets, and plastic buckets, glasses, and plates.
Additional items included: one hundred pieces of clothing for men, women, and kids; fifty cartons of toilet soap; one hundred mattresses; one hundred bundles of roofing sheets; one hundred bags of cement; twenty zinc nail packs.
He advised the recipients to make prudent use of the relief supplies in order to lessen their hardship.
The Emir of Zaria, Ahmed Bamali, accepted the supplies and expressed his gratitude, saying that the relief effort was timely and will undoubtedly be of use to them.
He complimented the organization and other organizers for their action, which would help lessen the problems caused by insecurity in the country. He also said that a lack of resources led to frustration, which in turn encouraged other types of criminal activity.
Bamali called on leaders and affluent people to show generosity by helping those in need.
Usman Mazadu, the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA), guaranteed that all of the intended recipients will receive the relief supplies.
The sad incident that happened on August 11 left 10 people dead and 30 injured, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
