Prison guards plotting a strike with terrorists, claims CDS Musa

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, revealed that some recently arrested individuals linked to Boko Haram planned attacks from prison in collaboration with prison warders.

He emphasized challenges related to corruption in the correctional facilities, porous borders, and issues with the judiciary frustrating counter-terrorism efforts. 

Additionally, he called for the extradition of Simon Ekpa, claiming that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader's actions are inciting violence in southeastern Nigeria.
