The United Nations Office in Abuja has urged educational institutions, including schools, to concentrate on enhancing human rights awareness and positive technological innovations among Nigerian youths.
Emphasizing the potential of youth to influence the world, the Knowledge Management Assistant at the United Nations Information Centre, Mrs. Bolanle Olumekor, stressed that the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030 relies heavily on empowering youth in innovation, industry, and tech infrastructure. Commending Premiere Academy for fostering a conducive learning environment and a comprehensive curriculum, Mrs. Olumekor also lauded the school's Anti-bullying campaign, urging students to stand against societal vices.
Furthermore, the Raw Materials Development and Research Council (RMDRC) praised Premiere Academy's commitment to Science and Technology as a valuable policy providing students with an exceptional foundation for their future.
During a seminar for the 2023 World Science Day for Peace and Development, Engineer Mrs. Uchenna Maduegbunam, Head of the Petrochemical and Materials Development Division of RMDRC, commended the students' technological inventions as evidence of the school's rich curriculum and investments.
She assured ongoing support and interest from the Raw Materials Research and Development Centre in the school's technological advancements.
