NAF attacks the Kaduna stronghold of the commander of Boko Haram

The air component of Operation Whirl Punch, operating in the North-West and North Central zones, has successfully carried out an air bombardment, eliminating several terrorists in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, spokesperson for the Nigerian Air Force, confirmed the operation, stating that it was based on intelligence indicating the presence of a terrorist kingpin named Boderi, along with his brother Nasiru and other members, at their hideout in Tsauni Doka village. 

The airstrikes, conducted on November 16, 2023, targeted the terrorists, including Boderi and Nasiru, with devastating consequences, neutralizing several and destroying their motorcycles. 

Boderi and his associates were reportedly responsible for various attacks and kidnappings along strategic routes and in communities in Kaduna and Niger states.
